For this brand, I knew I wanted to go the mystical route. There is something about candles that travels through time. People have used it for millennia and as a source of light in darkness, and I wanted to capture that connection we feel when a candle is lit:
But what I think would really hit it on the nose with this one is a good ole Ouija Board:
I love the simple hand illustrations in the mood board, and wanted to combine that as an element that would appeal to millennials and gen z. We love our emojis! I chose the pinched fingers emoji because it is a gesture for emphasis. The energy behind the left one is heavier on the mystical side, but playful. Imagine taking this candle with you to the woods in Italy with a bottle of wine. The one on the right is more southwest desert mystical, like something you would see in Sedona with cacti, the moon and a whole lot of terra cotta.
